About Sync Daddy IPTV
Sync Daddy IPTV is built and run by one independent developer, Jeremy Raymond. No VC, no growth team, no analytics agency. Just a working tool for a real problem: households with multiple Android TVs and one legitimate IPTV subscription that has to be rebuilt by hand on every device.
Why I built this
I have three Android TVs and one legal IPTV subscription. Every time the provider rotates URLs (which happens), or I add an EPG source, or I reorder my favorites, I'd have to repeat the same edits on every TV. None of the major IPTV players have a real cross-device sync layer — TiviMate has cloud-sync as a Premium feature but it's tied to TiviMate-only and the granularity is rough; IPTV Smarters has nothing; Perfect Player has nothing. So I built one.
What we won't do
- No piracy. Terms §2 explicitly requires legal-content-only use. Accounts caught violating get terminated immediately.
- No analytics on the web. No Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no advertising pixels, no cross-site cookies.
- No selling data. Ever. To anyone.
- No VC-driven feature creep. The product stays focused on sync. If it ever pivots to "social IPTV streaming" you'll know we sold.

Where we're going
Short-term roadmap: real Stripe billing (currently fake checkout), proper Android TV APK distribution (currently sideload-only), iOS sync client, automated daily backups. Long-term: stay small, stay focused, stay independent.
